Maker of DVS — deterministic verification for AI governance and agent boundaries.

Founder note

Why I am building this

I built DVS because useful AI work can become risky the moment it moves faster than verification.

Who I am

I am Luis Montoya, founder of unFragged, the company building DVS — the Deterministic Verification Substrate. My work is shaped by a practical problem: modern AI systems can produce useful drafts, analyses, code, and tool actions, but the surrounding systems often treat that output as ready before authority, source support, replay behavior, and claim boundaries are proven.

How I got here

I kept running into the same failure mode: the model could help, but the process around the model could not always prove what was true, what was only inferred, what was allowed to move forward, and what needed to stop. DVS grew out of that pressure. It is not a chatbot wrapper. It is a release boundary for machine-generated outputs and agent actions.

Why it matters to me

I care about this because AI is already moving into workflows where unsupported output can become downstream state. That means the important question is not only whether a model can answer. It is whether the system can prove why an answer or action was allowed, blocked, quarantined, or replayed.

What I want reviewers to understand: DVS is my attempt to make AI work accountable at the boundary where it becomes operational, not just impressive inside a chat window.
